Not only does Adventure have a name, it has a home.
There will be one (1) grand prize and two (2) secondary prizes awarded in Canada (the "Prizes").
The Grand Prize will consist of:
- Round Trip economy airfare for the prize winner and one (1) guest ("Guests") both of whom have signed a Consent, leaving from the same gateway and on the same itinerary from the Canadian International airport closest to winner's home (e.g. Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Halifax or St. John's) to Montreal. In the event the Prize winner lives within 200km of Montreal, no airfare will be awarded. Guests must be over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside.
- Pick up for the Guests between the Montreal airport and Fairmont Le Château Montebello.(Transportation between the Guests' residence(s) and the Canadian International airport, both upon departure and arrival after the trip is not included and is the responsibility of the Guests.)
- Two (2) nights hotel accommodation at Fairmont Le Château Montebello based on double occupancy.
- One Land Rover Experience Driving School four-hour session for the Guests, consisting of a two-hour lesson and a two-hour trail ride at the Land Rover Experience Driving School, located at Fairmont Le Château Montebello. The Guests must be over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside and hold a valid driver’s license, and
- One (1) $300 gift certificate for use by the Guests at the Hotel during the Guests' stay as part of their prize. (Gift certificate must be used during their stay at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello and cannot be used during any future trip. Any unused portion of the gift certificate is not redeemable for cash.)
The approximate value of the prize is $5,000.00 CDN based on Vancouver departure from Vancouver airport. Actual value will vary depending on location of the winner's residence (the "Grand Prize"). Trip must be taken by December 31, 2009 subject to flight and hotel availability, blackout periods apply. The Guests are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel and insurance documentation before the travel date. The Guests must satisfy all conditions outlined in the rules listed and the Land Rover Experience Driving School conditions including without limitation, valid driver's license and insurance to be eligible to participate in the Grand Prize. The Guests will be responsible for all other costs and expenses related to the Grand Prize, including, but without limitation, additional transportation to and from the residence(s) of the Guests and the Canadian International airport, additional ground transportation, any applicable departure taxes, transportation taxes, shipping costs associated with the Grand Prize, travel, repatriation and health or travel insurance (collectively, "Insurance"), personal expenses, gratuities, meals, entertainment, etc. The Grand Prize winner may be required by Fairmont Le Château Montebello to provide an accepted and valid credit card to cover incidental charges (including but not limited to: telephone charges, laundry services, room service, etc).
SECONDARY PRIZES (Canadian Auto Show Kiosk Entry Only)
There will be two (2) secondary prizes awarded, each consisting of: one (1) pair of Nordica skis Hot Rod Nitrous (men) or Olympia Victory (women specific) with binding; 08-09 collection, and one (1) pair of Nordica boots Speedmachine 12 (men) or Olympia Speedmachine 12 (women), 08-09 collection to be supplied by Nordica Canada. The approximate retail value of each secondary prize is $1,500 Canadian dollars (the “Secondary Prizes”). If the Secondary Prize winners require (as per their level of ability and needs) a product with a lower level of performance and request such product, Nordica Canada may agree to substitute, at their sole discretion, a different model depending on availability. Where Nordica Canada agrees to substitute the Secondary Prize for a product with a lower level of performance then no cash refund will be given for the difference in the retail value. Prizes may not be exactly as shown in contest publicity or promotional materials. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically referred to as included shall be the responsibility of the winner.
